I've gone with a cute and cuddly wombat for my "W" card. I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils, leaving lots of texture to give the impression of hair.

What an Adorable Wombat. I've never seen one that I know of. I thought that was a bear. So thanks for letting us know what a Wombat looks like. Merry Christmas Mr. Wombat.
Hi Beccy, I had to look up what kind of animal a "Wombat' was. "Buideldier" in Dutch it is 😊 but apparently even in Dutch they are knows under the original name 'Wombat'. Haha, I keep on learning every day! Anyhow he looks very cute on your card. Looks like he can use a little help untangling the Christmas decoration. Haha ! Creative regards, Gina
I've never personally been acquainted with a wombat. Not something we have running around our neighborhood. But he looks like a cute, furry fellow. Does he by chance eat poinsettias? He's definitely a cutie!

Amazingly done in pencil Beccy. Thank you for sharing so much of you talents with us. I struggle with pencils and admire anyone who can use them, especially this lifelike. That dark green berry strip really gives great contrast to his grayish brown body.
Printed out the wombat, but was not sure how to colour him. Thanks for your beautiful inspiration. Love the background too.

Hi Beccy, One beautiful woolly Wombat, love the cute expression and how you have coloured him, I think many tourists would be surprised at just how plain our native wildlife is mostly in browns and greys to blend in with the native Eucalypts, our wild life volunteers are working to treat mange in the local wombats, however if another Wombat moves into an old burrow they contract the awful disease. Thank you for the inspiration... Megan

They're more grumpy than anything Mel, but pretty slow moving and won't bother you if you don't bother them.
