Day 11 - Use Your Scraps

Today is another non-alphabet prompt, and this time I want you to dig out all those lovely off cuts to create your card or project. You can add them as stripes, patchwork, or even punched embellishments. Perhaps you have some nice little pieces of mirror card or paper with a pretty pearlescent sheen.

YOUR TURN: Create a project using scraps and off cuts.

Wow Beccy. This is a cool idea. I have been putting my smaller scraps in a pile so I will have to dig some out and see what I can come up with.

This is my kind of prompt. Time to have a look to see if I can find a scrap layout I haven't used before.
Love the combination of papers in your card Beccy.

Great use of scraps, Beccy, and right up my alley. I have plenty of scraps and elements in my UFO box and am trying to use them up, or at least diminish it (somewhat).

SPLENDID Nutcracker Beccy, you always make him stand so proud and tall!!!

... as for today's prompt, all I can say is "you must be peeking" because last night I used scraps on the cards I'm about to share ... the cards were hoping for a Jolly "J" prompt this morning :)

Four hours ago, passing through a collection of paper stuffs, I asked myself
in how many lives I could used them, or what kind of serious projects I have to think about in order to use them ALL, because they are like a blocked energy around!
And surprisingly, the new subject is about scraps...
What can I add except... thank you...

Definitely one of my favorite challenges! Love your striped background. It goes so well with your nutcracker. Scraps have always been a problem for me. They multiply so fast (kind of like the loves and fishes) and you just can't use them fast enough. I love the dies that have multiple pieces to them. They use up lots of scraps. Thanks for the lovely inspiration.

Oh I have 3 big boxs of scraps 1 with small bits and another larger bits. I am trying to use up and love that you used the thin stripes great inspiration and fab image. Think all crafters have oddments of dp and even bits of ribbon we can use.

Gorgeous card, Beccy. My (yours) nutcrackers are waiting here next to me for the letter N. About 10 years ago we were on vacation in Florida and then I got to know nutcrackers for the first time and I'm addicted since.
Now I have to put my thinking cap on to create something with scraps.
Enjoying the challenge!

Hi Beccy, thank you for the two prizes, I'm hoping to play catch-up after physio tomorrow. I'm working my way through two paper pads that are down to scraps small enough to fit in 4x6inch envelopes... Megan
