We're a little over half way through this year's Month of Holiday Cards challenge and already my scrap box is overflowing! To be fair, it was already full at the beginning of the month, but that's another story. Let's dive into that delicious box of left overs to create something festive and fun.

What a genious idea to Work your way through all your little schrap papers. Creative regards, Gina
So many scraps from the cards this month that I'm sure that I will be making more than one for this prompt. I like the way that you have used your scraps.
I've been trying to make a scrap card or tag as I go along this month. I had an idea for "Q" day with scraps, maybe I'll just use it now and think up another "Q" word - If that's possible!
One of my favorite challenges and something that was a goal for 2020 for me. And this is about the only new year's resolution that I really stuck to this year. I wanted to make a dent in my scraps. I'm not sure if I accomplished that or not but what I did do was get them more organized so that I could find the scraps I wanted. I love both of your cards but the banner card caught my eye. Great use of the dies and I love the fun frame to pull it all together. I have to remember that idea. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have a few days to catch up on but definitely not short of scraps.
All my Christmas specific scraps are in a box and then any other scraps are sorted by colours. I find doing it that way makes it so easy for me to grab the scraps first rather than cutting into a new sheet of paper. Sometimes going through the scraps dictates the direction a particular card goes in. Other times it's a case of selecting something that may fit what I already have planned. There is something very satisfying in knowing you are using your odd bits up.
The selection of papers you have used for these 2 cards are lovely together. The addition of the simple embellishments makes them look very classy.
Scraps! Yikes! We probably all have a box of those and need to use them up. I keep my scraps in ROY G BIV order. Except the Christmas scraps. They have their own special place in the pile. Sometimes the scraps end up in the recycle bin. You gotta let them go once in a while. [Bunny]
Brilliant designs for using up scraps. I’m sure there’s a little gremlin in my scrap pile. The more I use the bigger the pile seems to grow! xx
Scraps, scraps everywhere! I finally and to dump some of my scraps so I had room to move around my craft room - I am not kidding - I would keep very tiny pieces of cardstock and paper because I had some tiny dies that I knew would fit in those spaces - not any more - I had to go with at least a 3x3 piece to keep - otherwise I was searching through tons of scraps - trying to really get organize - I do well - then here comes the mess - it is a never ending story - lovely art here Beccy - TFS
We probably look like cartoons with scraps flying in the air when we're racing to get a card done!
Hi Bec, I love the idea of using up all my little scraps.
Many thanks

That's a nice set of cards, beautiful DP and love the way you put the sentiment on your quilted card!
Lovely card, somehow I don't know how to use the scraps of paper. And when I look at your cards it seems so simple. I need to work on this. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love this. Reminds me of a patchwork quilt. I REALLY need to reorganize all my scraps---Christmas and others! Well, if truth be known, I need to reorganize all the stuff to do with this challenge! I go in there telling myself I must do it then a light bulb goes off and I have to work on a card! My granddaughters came over yesterday to work on cards and I see they work very much like I do. They need to come back today to finish and I told them to straighten a bit, but I didn't have them do too much, since they seem to know how to work in their "organized mess". It thrilled me they asked to come to work on some cards and I have to say they know what they want and are very good at doing it!. I'm impressed with the fussy cutting that was done. I said Beccy would be imressed!!
wow - that´s a great idea! I like the papers so much.
All the best!

Hi Beccy this is a gorgeous card. I love making cards with scraps. Thank you for the inspiration. Take care. Hugs Jackie
It’s absolutely amazing how far scraps of card can go and so effective and rewarding both cards are beautiful x
I love to collect them. It's funny and useful in many ways. In time it's more difficult to decide what to do with them. I need courage, or a strong wish of cleaning my space!
Lovely and creative cards, as usual! And I love the dots!
What a great way to use up some scraps. I especially love the square card.

Both your cards are lovely, Beccy. They definitely do not look as if you are using 'scraps'. I love the way you have placed the sentiment on the rectangle card, then drawn a 'border'...very effective.
Hugs,
Jennifer. x
