Kathy always writes entertaining descriptions for her cards and projects, and this month she has kindly allowed me to use her own words to describe this fabulous card! Enjoy.
I
had a box of decorated card fronts and envelopes in my stash and this one
reminded me of an ebbing ocean scene. So I made it into that! I used just the
front of the card, cutting it at the fold, and tearing it along the lower
“foamy ocean edge.” I also tore fluffy clouds from scraps of white cardstock,
and adhered them onto cloudy sky patterned paper to create the horizon. A
little work with a light grey marker and my trusty white gel pen adds ripples
to the water around the old geezer! (Oh, and I colored his nose with white and
pale aqua to make is looks like he is wearing “Blue Lizard” sunscreen… in honor
of all my Australian friends!)

Beccy, I have a feeling I'm going to inspire lots of giggles and guffaws to those who receive cards made with this fun set. The characters are so fun and I always love that you name them. Ralph is the perfect name for this guy. (And, I forgot to mention something in the description I gave you. If you look closely, you’ll notice that Ralph's belly is a bit sunburned. I guess he forgot to cover it with sunscreen? Heh heh!)
Cute card!
Have a great day!
