Day 17 - "O"

Growing up, we always called the items that hung from the Christmas Tree ornaments, whether they were round or novelty shaped. It wasn't until I was an adult that I learned that "baubles" are generally spherical while ornaments are anything else. So technically, this goose is cosied up with a nest full of baubles, but since that doesn't cover today's prompt I'm going to throw back to my childhood and call them ornaments!

For today's "F" prompt, I've gone with a freebie, and as you can see, I also stepped out of my comfort zone and reached for the orange markers, which is probably the colour I use least.

Oh, the frustration of tangled Christmas lights!  I can certainly relate to how this guy is feeling, no matter how much you try, those lights aren't untangling in a hurry.  Knotted cords are almost a tradition at Christmas time, no matter how carefully you store the decorations.

This month over at CCAYR we used a sketch as the basis of our Christmas cards. I decided to go back to one of my favourite Christmas designs from last year, the Christmas Goose, who proudly illustrated day six of the 12 days of Christmas.
