CONGRATULATIONS Marianne!

I will join you for the final sprint ... I think I will have to do a clean-up first, the house is dotted with crafty bits and I am running around in circles around my Christmas Crafting Chaos, wasting time searching for items that have not been returned to their normal spot!

Day 30 - Do What You Love

Here we are again at the end of another Month of Holiday Cards Challenge. I hope everyone managed to fill their card boxes with fabulous handmade cards for the holidays and occasions you celebrate throughout the year. As always, it's been a pleasure to visit all the blogs to see the wonderful projects you've worked on and to read the lovely comments you've left for me and for each other, it's wonderful to be part of such a positive and encouraging community.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project that brings you joy.

Mr. Snowflake, with his rosy cheeks and vintage vibe, is still one of my favourite snowman images. He's great fun to colour and easy to fussy cut, plus he has the added benefit of having some jingle bells that can be coloured with silver pens for extra sparkle! Jackie and Carla have created some fabulous Christmas projects using this old favourite.

When I saw the prompt, I dropped everything (I was swiping the floors) and raced to get my card posted, but it seems I was just a trifle too slow.
I knew I should have prepared a few posts in advance ... but sometimes work gets in the way ...
Anyway, I feel I need to make a final sprint anyway so as to create and upload several more Christmas cards in the next few days. I am so not done yet.

Day 29 - "Z"

I love Z-fold cards! They're easy to make and decorate and they look great when stood open for display. The only thing better than a Z-fold card is a double Z-fold, and the only thing better than that is two of them!

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "Z" as your prompt.

An X-cellent choice reusing the X-Press It Blending Card for the letter X! X is an X-ceptionally hard letter to come up with words for Christmas--also written Xmas by some! I hope this X-pressed my feelings about your choice! Cute card,by the way!

Day 28 - "Y"

"Y" is for yellow, a colour I don't use very frequently but have always admired when combined with grey. I wasn't sure how the poinsettia would look if coloured in shades of yellow, but I must admit that I'm very happy with the result.

Lovely cards with sparkle! I've been waiting for W day for wreath, here it is and I don't have one ready (of course)! You keep me on my toes to get Christmas cards done, thanks!

Day 27 - "X"

At the risk of being repetitive, I've again used X-Press It Blending Card for the letter "X". Given that it's arguably the most difficult letter in the alphabet for finding inspiration, feel free to interpret today's challenge as loosely as you like.

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "X" as your prompt.

This is beautiful with the blue background. I'm beginning to like vellum. At the start vellum and I had quite a tussle but I've learned to work with it.

Day 26 - "W"

Wink of Stella is one of my favourite mediums for adding sparkle and shine to coloured images. It's not as vibrant as glitter but when it catches the light at the right angle it really puts on a show!

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "W" as your prompt.

Congrats Danka on your winning....way to go!
Here in my family we do stocking on New Year morning...it was a custom on my husband side that they would go to their god-parents house on New Year's Day so when we had children we continue the custom and now the children are grown they do it to their children...we just extended the Holidays a little longer.

Day 24 - "Something Sweet"

It's time for another non-letter challenge prompt, and this time we're focusing on all things sweet and tasty! There are lots of different treats that are traditionally served for the holidays, so feel free to share your favourite delicacy for your favourite holiday.

I can't believe I don't have this Santa, Beccy. I thought I had all of yours! I guess I'll have to go haunt the halls of the store until I find him. :-D

Day 23 - "U"

Under the mistletoe is the place to be at Christmas! I've used the mistletoe image from the Tied Up With String set, layered twice for a fuller, more luxurious look. Although you can't see it from this angle, I also applied some Wink of Stella to the berries for a hint of sparkle.

I really like the gift stockings. There is no such custom in Poland. We find gifts under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. It would be fun to get a stocking like that. Your sheep is beautiful but I will stay with stockings tonight.

Day 22 - "T"

I've taken a few artistic liberties with this image for today's letter prompt. Instead of berries on Mr Snowflake's wreath, I have coloured little twinkling lights in shades of red, orange and yellow.

Super card. I often colour Santa's outfit in blue and white, the colour of our local football team. Our local rival team wears red and white and we know Santa supports our team. 🤣 xx

Carla's Creations

Carla has two wonderful Christmas cards to share with us today, both using the Making Merry set of digital stamps. The first was printed and coloured on a piece of kraft cardstock, which always looks awesome combined with red. The second card features the little gift elf, coloured, fussy cut and layered on a card base with log cabin vibes.
