Day 1 - "A"

One of my favourite techniques is to take an image and add some doodling to make it suitable for a completely different occasion. I mostly do it for Christmas since there are so many simple items you can add, such as hats, lights or, in this case, baubles, which I added to the antlers of my animal image.

Anesha's Little Cuties

Anesha has created two adorable baby cards using the new Big Love set of digital stamps. She coloured two of the baby animals with pencils, leaving lots of wonderful texture to give the impression of fur and soft feathers. A blue halo around the top of the animals and deep grey shadows beneath, help to ground the images and create the illusion of physical space.

All That Jazz

I love this fluffy little robin chick resting happily on a holly branch... I really like little birds and I love Christmas, so how could I go wrong combining the two?  He also looks fantastic printed on the back of matching envelopes!

My Cards

Sentiment Mini Set

Over the last couple of weeks my designers and I have been working on a big set of little images!  The Sentiment Mini Set contains 20 images, each with it's own little sentiment in plain text below the image.  They are simple to colour and designed so that they are generally easy to layer for great 3D effects, plus they can be used as tiny little images for those who like simple, clean cards, or as larger pictures for full sized projects.

Today I'm going to show you the cards that Vivien and Cheryl have created with some of the images in the set.  Tomorrow I'll post some examples from Eret and myself using some of the other designs.

 All Beccy's Place images come with a black and white line drawing as well as a colour version.  This set contains 20 black and white line drawings and 20 coloured images.
