A Good Day To Be Happy

To create the "confetti" for my happy little elephant, I used markers to add dots around the background then circled each one with a fine line pen. Alternatively, you could use small stamps, patterned paper, or even little hand-drawings to suit the theme you're after.

Big Wishes

After colouring this little cutie with alcohol markers, I fussy cut and popped her up on some pretty patterned papers. To add a bit more interest, I used my piercing tool to create borders around each of the panels.

You Are Unforgettable

A CAS style card from me today, featuring the little sitting elephant from our latest clear set, "Unforgettable". The image was coloured with alcohol markers then fussy cut to leave a narrow white border. The background has been kept simple with an inlaid, embossed circle, a narrow pink frame and a stamped sentiment.

Decorate Everything!

Kathy regularly decorates the inside of her cards with papers, images and embellishments that coordinate with the outer design. With just a few small additions, she shows us how easy it is to take our designs up a notch.

Congratulations!

Carla has used two of the little critters from the Chute! set of digital stamps to make these adorable baby cards. She coloured and fussy cut the images, keeping to a blue or pink colour scheme, and then matched them with some patterned paper and plain white cardstock.

I Forgot Your Birthday

Do you think a little elephant arriving by parachute would take the sting out of being forgotten on your birthday? Perhaps not... but it sure would distract you for a while and hopefully bring a smile to your face as well.

Carla's Wild Creation

Carla's card conjures up thoughts of an Kenyan adventure, journeying through the savannah on the look-out for majestic animals and breath-taking scenery. Don't you just love the fabulous background paper she chose for her project? It coordinates perfectly with the giraffe image and decorative patterned strips.

Lofty Heights

Join us over the next week as we showcase some new projects created with the Safari set, featuring majestic African animals and a collection of thought-provoking sentiments.

Deanne will get the ball rolling for us this month with a wonderful card created with the giraffe image and one of the matching sentiments. A piece of coordinating paper and some shiny, self-adhesive drops finish the project perfectly.

Kathy's Odd Bods

We're headed to Kathy's place today to meet some odd little critters featured on her latest projects.
Her first card has been decorated both on the front, with a pink-cheeked elephant, and inside where you'll find a little mouse reluctant to grow up! Kathy has used two of the sentiments from the Odd Bods set to complete her card.

This second card features the odd sheep from the same set of digital stamps. Kathy printed it several times so she could build up the image to give it a 3D look. She also embossed some texture into the sheep's wool for a fabulous curly look!

Odd Little Elephant

I wanted to give the little elephant from the new Odd Bods set a little more love, so I printed the line drawing and adding a couple of stitched hearts. Since I was using alcohol markers to colour, I made sure to use a water based black pen rather than oil or solvent.

Birthday Card Set

The new Big Wishes set really lends itself to lots of fabulous bright colours! I printed the pre-coloured images from the digital set, backed them with gorgeous bright pink card stock and mixed in some multi-coloured sequins and fun embossing folders for birthday cards with a bang!

The Wild and the Mighty

A few weeks ago I sat down with these two images from the new Safari set plus a desk full of markers and enjoyed some colouring-therapy... the time-lapse videos are on my Instagram account for anyone who is interested in the process. These two cards are the result of my endeavours.

New Release: Safari Set

This set is actually a re-mastered collection of the African animals I drew a few years ago. The lion, elephant and giraffe were the most popular subjects in the collection, but they desperately needed an update! It's a perfect set for creating great masculine cards, birthday greetings or cards of encouragement and support. It would also be great for zoo or safari themed scrapbook pages!
