Day 9 - "H"

"Just a little donkey carried Heaven's precious light"
I created the background for this card by brushing a variety of distress ink colours onto smooth cardstock and then scattering a few stars around with a white gel pen. The little donkey sits above an oval window cut into white cardstock with a stitched-edge cutting die.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "H" as your prompt.

I love this little donkey. The bright sky with so many stars reminds me of the nights at London. Thanks for sharing. I'll do my best.

My father passed away last week, he loved donkeys. I was planning to buy this set so I could make a card for him with the animals he loved the most all his live. And now you show this beautiful card with such e meaningful text, my father is the precious light in heaven for me.

This card is amazing - taking one single image and adding the oval background just make this sweet little creature pop. So neat to make him special with his own card!

Love the background you have created. I am not an 'inker' so pretty sure I could not create something so subtle. Every time I use inks I am too heavy handed and never seem to be able to make it look as effortless as this example.

The texture you created on the little donkey loos very realistic too.

This Donkey is darling. Love the way you placed him in front of the oval night scene. This reminds me of the True Meaning of Christmas. What a wonderful idea.
