Hot Tip Tuesday

You don't always have to spend lots of time colouring to get great images for your cards, scrapbook pages and paper craft projects. For a fabulous, consistent look, try stamping directly onto coloured card and then add some highlights and shadows with pencil. As you can see in the photo below, I've also used a gold pen for some extra colour and shine.

Great tip for those of us who leave things to the last minute and need a card in a hurry. And it seems so simple!

Do you have suggestions for reliable brands of white and gold pens or pencils? I have so many that just do not write!

Hi Dorothy. I personally use Signo brand white pens, which seem to last and are wonderfully opaque. I find the broad tip is better than the fine.
I've recently discovered that Signo make a gold and silver pen too, and they are equally fabulous. Not sure if you are able to buy them where you are, but they are available at most stationery shops (office supply stores) here in Australia. Good luck!
Cheers,
Beccy
