Of all the beautiful roses in the world, my favourites are the yellow ones. Yellow roses are a symbol of friendship so I thought it apt to use them on a card for a friend.
I began by printing the digital image onto watercolour paper and then colouring it with distress inks. Since I used my ink jet printer I thought the outline would disappear as I coloured, but much to my surprise it didn't move at all.
After the image dried I carefully cut it all out and used foam tape to secure it over some pretty die cuts. I printed one of the matching sentiments and used a large punch to punch out my tag.

Just absolutely beautiful. I want to watercolor like you!.... and such a fab cutting job. I can see the lattice behind, in between the flowers... Wow! What skill and patience this image must have taken... awesome!
