My Neighbourhood Card

As soon as I finished designing the "My Neighbourhood" set I knew what kind of card I wanted to create. It features every element that's included in the collection along with one of the mix and match sentiments. Not long after I finished making it, my oldest child grabbed it to give to a friend for his birthday... luckily I had time to take a couple of photos!

New Release: My Neighbourhood

This is probably my favourite release for this month. I love the sketchy look of the images and the lovely bright colours, plus I think it will be useful for lots of occasions with a little tweak here and there. I'm planning to string some Christmas lights between the houses and add a little snow to the rooftops. Ooooh, and a little bride and groom outside the church would be cute too!

Recipe Book

After losing all my recipes from an app on my iPad that was no longer updating, I decided it was time to go "Old School" again. Luckily I still have copies of all the recipes I lost.

Here's another page from the catalogue I'm creating. These stamps are from the Just Desserts clear stamp set and they've all been coloured with Prismacolor pencils. The notebook is just an ordinary sketch book available at your local art supply store and filled with cartridge paper.

Create a card or paper-craft project using any Beccy's Place image, upload a photo of it to your blog or other hosted site, and submit a direct link below. The challenge runs from now until midnight on the 31st of January 2018 (AEST).

• Your project must be created during the month of January 2018 and entered into the challenge during the active challenge period. Due to an automated system, late entries cannot be accepted.
• Each month I will include a re-mastered digital image from my library of freebies. You DO NOT have to use the design on your project, but you MUST use a Beccy's Place image, either free or purchased, to be eligible for prizes.
• You can enter as many times as you like and you can submit your card to any other challenge you wish.
• At the end of the month three winners will be randomly chosen to receive a $20.00AU store credit for any digital stamps at Beccy's Place. To redeem the store credit, winners must have a Beccy's Place customer account. (Please note, you do not need an account to enter the challenge. It is acceptable to create an account in the event that you win. Accounts can be closed at any time.)
• Store credit won during any Beccy's Place challenge is only redeemable for digital stamps.
• Beccy's Place designers may enter the monthly challenge but are not eligible to win prizes.

Year in Review

I kept the colouring to a minimum for this design, just a little bit of black pencil to deepen the shadows and a hint of pink for his little cheeks.

Gingerbread Album

I love looking back over old photos from Christmas' past... seeing captured moments of my children when they were young and the happy faces of friends and loved ones who have since passed on. I usually add a few pages to a Christmas journal each year so that I can remember the moments we shared and the funny little things that were said and done. This year I made a mini gingerbread album filled with photos from a decade ago. I apologise for not taking photos of the album before I filled it, I was so focused on the old photos that I forgot!
