Apple, cinnamon, cloves and anise... definitely a delight for the senses!

I've coloured the image with alcohol markers, mostly using earth tones and yellows to match my patterned papers and the autumn feel of the design. I'm thinking this card would work for just about any of the end of year holidays - Thanksgiving, Halloween or even Christmas.

New Release: The Great Jack Set

I love to draw and colour pumpkins, so designing images for Halloween and Thanksgiving is something I look forward to every year.  I was feeling a little nostalgic for the simpler days of childhood as I drew these images, hence the scribbly shadow lines and vintage typewriter font.

October New Releases

I absolutely love this time of the year!  All the "big" holidays are just around the corner and year's end is in sight.  Here in Australia the weather is starting to warm up and the kids are looking forward to the end of the school year with a nice long break stretching out before them.  It's a wonderful time for designing stamps too... there are so many ideas, themes and subjects to choose from!

Pumpkin Set

This set of pumpkin images contains both plain pumpkins and gourds, which would be great for autumn and Thanksgiving inspired projects, as well as jack-o-lanterns ready to adorn your Hallowe'en projects.  The set contains five black and white line drawings and three full-colour images.

Old Barrow Set

My friend Penny suggested I design a wheel barrow image with various items that can be added depending on the type of card you wish to create... thus the Old Barrow set was born!  This set contains 8 black and white line drawings plus another 6 coloured images (shown below).  Each image can be used separately or can be mixed and matched with any of the others to create a whole scene.

These are the gorgeous cards that Vivien created with the Old Barrow set.  The first card features the wheel barrow and the terracotta pots, while the second card uses just the gifts.

Rachael used the wheelbarrow and pumpkin sign as her base image and then built the scene up using the pumpkins.

These are the cards I created using the different elements from the set.  The sentiments on each card are various stamps I have in my collection - the first and second are from Hero Arts, the third is a Stampin' Up sentiment stamp, and on the last card I simply hand wrote the message.
