Celebrate

Deanne has used one of the pre-coloured images from the new Stem in a Teacup digital set to create this pretty card. A scattering of coloured sequins adds a little sparkle and a wide organza bow finishes the project nicely.

White on Dark Cardstock

White pencil on dark cardstock is one of my favourite colouring techniques, the end result is always so striking! I've also added black pencil to deepen some of the shadows and to ground the teacup to its surroundings.

Stem In A Teacup Cards

This beautiful collection of cards was created by Cynthia with the new Stem in a Teacup set of digital stamps. She printed and coloured the first two images before incorporating them into her gorgeous card designs. Her third card features the pre-coloured wild rose with the addition of gold glitter in the centre of the blossom.

One Day At A Time

Kathy has coloured the magnolia image from the new Stem in a Teacup digital set to create this card for a dear friend. She added a beautiful piece of vintage lace, threaded with a ribbon, along the top of her card, and a second piece of ribbon as a little bow on the cup handle.

Shaped Card

Pink bling card stock and a fancy shaped die were the perfect accompaniments for a magnolia image coloured with watercolour pencils. A white, double-bow adds a nice finishing touch.

New Release: Spring Set

Today's new set features two of my most popular floral images - Magnolia and Tulips.  I've made the flowers into seed packet labels and included some silhouettes and a few word images to complete the set.

New Rubber Stamps

The lovely ladies over at Sparkle N Sprinkle have been busy producing lots of new rubber stamps that are perfect for seasonal cards, birthdays and Mother's Day.  I happen to know there's a sale going on over there at the moment on selected rubber stamps, so it's a perfect time to spoil yourself!

Magnolia

Most of us enjoy working with floral images and designs, so today I have a classic, single blossom magnolia for you.  You can work with it individually as Sue and I did, or put a couple together as Viv did with her card and bookmark set.

Sue's card with beautiful, soft pinks and greens.

Viv's gorgeous card and bookmark set using a couple of the magnolia images.

I layered parts of the image for a little more dimension.

Magnolia

Free Printable #174

I used this image on a card I made back in August, but there are lots of beautiful magnolia images on the web if you need some help with colouring.

Magnolias

I drew some magnolias earlier in the week for a special cause and liked them so much that I thought I'd draw another image and use it on a card. And as it happens, they are perfect for this weeks challenge at Stampy Land, which is to make a pink and green card!

I coloured the flowers with Aquarelle water colour pencils and an aqua brush, mounted them on some Nestabilities die cuts and finished it off with a cuttlebug embossing folder and a couple of border punches.
