This is another Card Camp challenge card based on a sketch provided by the group owner, Jennie. I used the gorgeous hydrangea stamps from Flourishes, coloured them with copic markers and added just a hint of sparkle to the centre of each blossom.

Friendship
Now that our town's 150th birthday celebration is over I've finally had the opportunity to catch up on some of the challenges I'd neglected from our Yahoo group. I spent the last couple of days holed up in my studio, surrounded by card stock, glue, markers and plenty of coffee... oh what bliss!
The Challenge: Use something from an office supply store.

Summertime Card
It's the dead of winter here in Australia so making a Summer themed card was a lovely distraction from the chilly breeze and drizzly rain. To me, summer means lots of bright flowers and plenty of insects! I didn't have a fly or mosquito punch, which would be much more accurate for my part of the world, so I went with some pretty butterflies instead.
A Challenge Card
While we were away on vacation I missed a number of challenges over at Cardcamp. One of them was a CASE card (Copy And Selectively Edit), which I created using a gorgeous Kaisercraft stamp heat embossed onto watercolour paper and then coloured with Distress Markers.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge
Jennie, our long-suffering and infinitely good humoured Card Camp leader, prepared a tic tac toe grid of nine different cardmaking elements including things like embossing, copic markers and ribbon. Each of us had to choose a row and create a card with the elements in that row. I decided on "bling", "Thinking of You Stamp" and "Distress Ink" for my card, which I made using one of my favourite colour combinations.
Stamps: Stampin' Up
Colours: Distress markers
Die: QuicKutz Nesting Frame 9

Colour Challenge Conniption
This week's Card Camp challenge was a tricky one for me... I almost had a conniption when I saw the colour swatch! We had to work with a palette of lime green, turquoise and yellow, which are not colours I usually go for. I much prefer browns, dusty pinks and greens. Anyway, I dragged out all the inks, cardstock and patterned papers I had and was surprised to find quite a few items in the appropriate colours. A bit of stamping, a bit of cutting, bow tying and layering and I had a card in all the right colours that hadn't actually caused me any physical harm... but I am retreating to my comfort zone for the rest of the day!

Heartfelt Wishes
This week our Card Camp challenge was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) a beautiful card chosen by the group owner. The card used for inspiration featured layers of die cut cardstock with a beautiful stamped floral feature at the top. I used my favourite shaped die and a new Stampin' Up set I just purchased to create my challenge card.

Autumn Card
Autumn is definitely in the air in our part of Queensland, with beautiful cool nights and glorious warm days. It's my favourite season of the year with gorgeous colours, wonderful temperatures, and delicious autumn soups and stews, so I was thrilled when the challenge over at Card Camp was to create a Fall inspired card. I used a gorgeous set from Stampin' Up called Cherish Friendship, which I stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Distress markers. I finished the card with some hemp twine and a couple of leaf charms from my stash.

Card Camp Challenge
I'm a member of a lovely Yahoo card making group that has weekly challenges to keep us all inspired and to help us build up a stash of lovely cards. This week we were challenged to colour and then create a card using an African Violet digital image, and the card below is what I ended up with.
