Bargello is a great technique for using up paper offcuts, and it also happens to begin with the letter "B", which is handy in an alphabet challenge. But just to be on the safe side, I also coloured dear old Santa with blue, black, brown, and beige markers.
YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "B" as your prompt.

That's an amazing background - I've never seen that one! I'm a sucker for blues at Christmas ~ love that Santa!!!
B thinking about what starts with B for this one.
Love your card Beccy. The background is perfect for this image.
I'm always amazed at the prompts you come up with, Beccy. The bargello technique is new to me, but I have just discovered that it is a technique used in quilting.
Marianne 💛
Pretty card! I never would have thought to put those colors together like that, but look how great it turned out!
I really like this card, but it makes Santa look a little grouchy. I guess it could be because of all the work he is getting ready to do. Maybe by the end of this month he will look much happier.
Love him in blue, awesome background Beccy! No Christmas moody blues for us crafters this month!
BRILLIANTLY BEAUTIFUL card Beccy!
LOVE the colours of your Santa and - WOW - LOVE your background too!
I confess, I had to Google the Bargello technique and I'm inspired. The tutorials I have found use 3/4" strips => your strips must be tiny ... unless your card is gigantic!!!
Kicking myself for NOT checking out your Tips & Tricks section first Beccy, Bargello was there looking so delicate and pretty!!!
=> I will be checking them out, along with your A-Z of Card Folds for INSPIRATION :)
What a great background, I've seen this technique before in quilting but never for a card background, need to check this out. Great looking card.
Wow that looks like a quilt when cut that way. That awesome.
Bargello is new to me but I'll be trying it soon ("soon" to be defined as "some period of time following the 30 Days of Holidays because I'll be too busy making holiday cards to try anything new before they end!")
I am glad I discovered this new technique, bargello. So many ideas related with quilting could be used in creating cards. Fabulous.
Haven't heard of that technique before, it's quite a puzzle challenge but it looks very pretty!
This must have taken a tremendous amount of patience. I went with a simple Blue for B and by that you can see how much patience I don't have :)
What lovely muted colours on this card and your scraps have been used in such an imaginative way on this card. Very pretty effect
I am so glad I discovered this technique. Tried it meantime already. Wauw with these inimini little pieces, you must have spend quite some time to make this card! HoHoHo!
