Day 30 - "Do What You Love"

These cards contain all my favourite things... multiple cards from one image, an unusual colour scheme, and a beautiful poinsettia. I included a photo of the coloured image before the cutting so you could see how the whole flower looked. For those who are curious, I coloured the centre of the flower green so that I would end up with a black poinsettia, rather than a black and white image of a poinsettia.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project that brings you joy.

You never disappoint Beccy - always finishing the month out with a "Do What You Love". Even though I spend the month doing a lot of what I love, it is always special to think about what I will do.
So far, I know I am going to do non-traditional colours as that is something that I love but I need to think what card design I love too.

These cards are beautiful, and I love how you took one image and made 4 cards out of them. Great job.

I forgot about this way of cutting a colored image.
It's really brilliant and productive...

W O W

You have officially taken my breath away with your STUNNING poinsettia and DELIGHTFUL cards Beccy, I'm almost speechless!

It's no secret in our family that I ADORE unusual flowers, from the almost black flowers of the hellebore and the ruffled green flowers of the viridiflora rose (both in Mum & Dad's garden), to the almost black hippeastrum that I look forward to flowering in our garden, year after year. That being said, it should come as no surprise to hear that THESE four cards are my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE that you have shared - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

THANK YOU for your CREATIVE INSPIRATION and for hosting this WONDERFUL event, bringing a world of crafters together!!!

You got me thinking. I think I love the process. I love watching something come together that wasn't there but I was able to turn it into something. So not sure I can produce that on the spot but that's okay. Just creating cards for fun without stress is part of the process too.
How you can color black is truly amazing. Just beautiful.

WOW, Beccy, I love, love LOVE the black poinsettia! I never would have thought of that myself but now I'm going to have to try that. I'm about to post my last 2 cards and I have to say it's been a fun and fabulous November. So glad I was able to play all the days. Starting out, I thought I'd be doing well if I got maybe 10 or 12 days done. Have a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year.

Love these, Beccy. Those poinsettias look amazing in black. Cannot believe it's the end of the month already. I had such big plans to created loads of Christmas cards this month. But the month has flown by. I also missed most of the races, since I was usually in bed around that time, but it was fascinating to see how everyone else was most likely staring at their screens all day (and possibly night) so they could post and link as soon as the magic words appeared. 😁😂😍
Thanks for another inspiration-filled month, and for your generosity. I appreciate you.

Wow, this poinsettia is stunning in the black colours and such a good idea to cut it in 4 pieces to create 4 wonderful cars. I must give it a try!
Thanks for this fantastic month of hosting your Holiday challenge.
At the beginning I didn't plan to participate this year as I already had made enough Christmas cards. But I couldn't resist and finished the entire alphabet and extra cards. It has been great with winning some races.
Thanks for all of your efforts and kind comments (I always love them).
