Day 10 - "I"

Today I've gone with a mustard and indigo colour combination. I'm probably stretching the limit on these candy cane flavours... I'm not even sure there is a blue and yellow flavour... but since the advent of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans (for the Harry Potter fans out there), I feel it's a case of anything goes!

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "I" as your prompt.

Lemon and blueberry perhaps? That would be nice. That is the beauty of colouring the images ourselves - we can just invent new flavours! The yellow and blues are a great combination.

It is a lovely colour combination, very sophisticated and I bet it would taste minty no matter what colour they were :)

How funny those dots are!
Beccy, I hope you don't mind, but I took one candy!
These stuff are miraculous. Always the stock grows up...
I'll try once this combination of colors. It's quite powerful!

I always seemed to get the dirt jelly bean when my daughter was into Harry Potter. I think your candy canes could be butterscotch and blueberry. Bertie Botts would have loved that flavor combo!

INSPIRING card Beccy!

LOVE your rich colour combo and fancy design, you have finished it off perfectly with a touch of MAGIC :)

I confess, I always enjoy seeing the WOW-factor of non-traditional colours too!

Wat een leuke kaart met de snoepjes in de kerstsok.
Ik dacht eerst dat er wandelstokken in zaten voor de gnooms.

Mustard and Blueberry, who would have thought? But out of all the stockings I've seen, I think I like this color combo the best! Becky your ideas always inspire me. Think I'm going to try these colors on one of my Christmas cards .

Not sure the flavors you picked would be very tasty. Well, to me that is. I don't like peppermint at all but when I have an upset stomach, I will reach for the peppermint every time. Not sure how that works but it definitely does work, ha ha.

Fantastic colors, great spin on the traditional holiday colors. I'm sure they have candy canes in those colors, probably even by me, lovely card, hugs, Lori m

It is an unusual colour combination for the holidays, but these colours do look beautiful together! My guess is blueberry ginger! I wonder what that would taste like? I love the oval-shaped card and the gorgeous bow! I need to get cracking with my cards - I've been busy here at home but time is ticking! Please keep the inspiration coming!

Fantastic card Beccy, the Indigo & Yellow is a perfect color match.
I've seen blue candy cane and it was blueberry.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful card & digital image.

Beccy, I think that's a spectacular color combo for the candy canes and I don't care at all what flavor they might be! How about banana/blueberry? Beautiful card and I love the oval shape. :-D
