Deanne combined some pretty floral paper and a scattering of rhinestones with one of the images from the What's Up set for her card. A simple scalloped border along one side adds some interest and texture and shows off a little more of the base cardstock.

Get Well Cards
Anesha has created a wonderful collection of get well cards using the images from the new Under The Weather set of digital stamps, along with matching sentiments. Her first and second cards feature beautiful nesting dies that give a wonderful decorative edge that contrasts perfectly with the images. Her final card is embellished with die cut grasses that are the perfect compliment for the rhinoceros image.

Everything Papercraft - Dimension
When we talk about dimension in papercraft, we’re generally referring to the third spatial measurement known as depth. Since we begin our projects with flat pieces of paper that have only length and width, the challenge is in adding depth so that the eye perceives a three-dimensional image. Paper crafters meet this challenge by adding shadows and highlights that help to shape objects that are stamped, printed or drawn onto a flat surface.
We also create layered cards by fussy cutting elements and building them one on top of the other so that some items are “behind” and some are “in front”, tricking the eye into seeing depth. This is also done with stamped and masked images. Think of the little scenes we create that have a forested background with animals layered over the trees… that’s depth.
Stepped and pop-up cards are literally three-dimensional as they take up space not only vertically and horizontally, but also with depth.

Wild About You
Check out the fabulous cards Judy created with the new What's Up set of digital stamps! She mixed and matched patterned papers, cardstock and even some stencilled designs to compliment the giraffe images she chose for her projects.

Hey Friend
I used the no-line colouring technique for this handsome fellow, and then followed up with a fussy cut and some foam tape to pop him up on my card base. The background is a sheet of kraft cardstock that has been dry embossed with a swirly design and then gently inked to help boost the pattern a little more... plus it gives lots of great texture!

Hot Tip Tuesday
There's no need to stock up on coloured embossing powders if you already own lots of coloured stamp pads. Simply load up your stamp with coloured ink, add a layer of Versamark (if the ink is quick drying), stamp on your prepared surface and apply clear embossing powder. Heat set the image for a fabulous coloured result!

Under The Weather
Deanne combined the bear image and the little raincloud from the Under The Weather set to create today's card. To complete the scene, she drew in a horizon line, added some tufts of grass and coloured both the sky and the ground around the bear.

Back On Your Feet
This card started out as a full circle with a scalloped edge, but for some reason it just didn't look right. A quick chop to add a flat edge along the bottom plus some nesting layers and I was happy with the new design.

March Challenge
Create a card or paper-craft project using any Beccy's Place image, upload a photo of it to your blog or other hosted site, and submit a direct link below. The challenge runs from now until midnight on the 31st of March 2022 (AEST).
To keep things interesting, I'll be adding an additional optional element to the monthly challenge. In March, it's all about food! Include a food related item somewhere in your project, and feel free to think outside the box. Perhaps a ribbon from a box of chocolates or part of the packaging from biscuits, a hamburger shaped brad or patterned paper that is covered with little strawberries. As always, keep in mind that the additional challenge is just an optional extra.
PLEASE READ THE CONDITIONS CAREFULLY
BEFORE ENTERING THE CHALLENGE
- Entries that don't meet the conditions will be deleted from the challenge.
- Your project must be created during the month of March 2022 and entered into the challenge during the active challenge period. Due to an automated system, late entries cannot be accepted.
