How fun! Thanks for the pictures of how you created the fun quilt effect. Your color choices remind me of a quilt my husband's grandmother made. She was an extremely talented seamstress. If any of my husband's brother or sisters would stay with her overnight they would come home with a brand new set of clothes. One dedicated grandmother. I can't do that.

Day 20 - "R"

Red is a fabulous colour to use for Christmas cards, especially when the image you're using isn't technically for Christmas, like this cute gnome. I also added a few stray snowflakes around his head, which are actually offcuts from a lovely border punch I have.

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "R" as your prompt.

INSPIRATION WORDS:
Reindeer, Rudolph, red, rejoice, reunion, rocker card, ribbons, rubber stamps, royal blue, ruby.

Just finished making 15 thank you cards, when I saw a new notification that there was another race. I quickly checked how many entries there had been and if I had time to make a new card to be one of the first ten entries. I didn’t even have time to enter a blank white card entitled “white cat in a snowstorm”! 🤣

Day 19 - "Q"

Quilting is my go-to for the "Q" prompt, and although I do have a few images that feature quilted fabric, I decided to alter Santa's coat instead. I've added a few images at the end of the post for anyone interested in the process.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "Q" as your prompt.

O,Beccy, I am so enjoying these challenges. Cute idea using an Oval shape for your letter O. You are so talented and thinking outside the box. This is my first year and I'm enjoying every minute.

Light Of The World

Two beautiful creations using the new Peace and Light set of digital stamps.

Day 18 - "P"

I created a printed background for my holly with one of the sentiments from the Holly Days set of digital stamps. Since the holly is a png file, I was able to layer it directly on top of the words before printing in a single layer. After colouring the holly, I added a shadow with grey marker to the right and bottom side of the image, which is what gives it that 3D appearance.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "P" as your prompt.
