Easel cards are one of my favourite folds as they're so easy to make and always look fabulous when open for display. I decorated this one with one of the little ducks from the Hello Ducky set, which I coloured using the no-line technique.
The contrasting colours on Deanne's Hello Ducky card are bright and eye catching... perfect for a birthday, a celebration or to cheer up a friend. She has added a layer of glitter to the little duck's bow tie and some glossy accents to his beak, feet, and eyes for that extra "Wow!" factor.
Carla has created this very clever card using one of the ducks from the new Hello Ducky set of digital stamps. By flipping the image and placing it close to it's mirror image, the ducks appear to be high-fiving! She's helped the illusion further by adding an appropriate sentiment. Now that's thinking outside the box!
Carla's second card is Christmas themed and uses a traditional red and green colour palette with pretty white poinsettias. Her little duck has joined the festivities with his big red bow!
Karin has used the new Hello Ducky set to create a fabulous Shutter Card that reveals a hidden message when opened. She also positioned one of the little ducks at the bottom of the card as if he too is popping up to say congratulations!
Some of us have hearing that is so finely tuned that we can hear a chocolate bar being unwrapped from the other side of the house... it's a super power!
