Bright and Cheerful

Sometimes it's nice to get away from the "traditional" Christmas colours and use something a little different, like all the bright shades of the rainbow! I've coloured the stitched tree from the new Christmas Trees set with alcohol markers then added patterns over the top of each section using a white gel pen. I think the effect looks like patchwork.

Hi Beccy, this tree reminds me of fancy leadlight lamps or stained-glass windows, here I was thinking you had paper pieced the tree with pretty patterned papers it looks great with the hand drawn patterns. Thank you for the inspiration... Megan

Now that's adorable - the tree lovely reminds me of Dad's ties yet your modern background brings it to life for a great card for a younger family. Great combo!
