Paper scraps are an inevitable by-product of paper crafting. Fortunately there are lots of wonderful ideas out there for ways to use your paper off-cuts, including fabulous backgrounds like the one I created today. I completed my project with a gold embossed sentiment and a sheer ribbon bow.

Tell me about paper scraps! I have heeps of them. They have to be realy realy petite to make me trow them away and all the rest ends up in a box, or four, or five... I love your card with all the small strokes. Great idea to use them.
Here a scrap, there a scrap, everywhere a scrap scrap--- Beccy showed us how to use our scraps in such a pretty way! Great card!
Beautiful way to use up your scraps. It looks like if you created a complete new designpaper! Great to mat it on 'gold' colored cardstock. The gold embossed sentiment and the sheer ribbon finishes it off.
Scraps ! Another incredible idea. I would never have thought to use Scraps for the letter 'S'. Plus it's a great way to use those pieces of paper we all have and definitely won't throw away !!!! That's a Spectacular ideađź’ˇ. That's a Super Score.
Very crestive i bet they where beautiful full sheets. I have a problem using pspers i love. I S for stroke them lol.
This is gorgeous Beccy. Love the really rich coloured scraps that you used.
Well, making my Star Easel card has certainly produced some scraps - I shouldn't have used a one way paper design and then been more careful cutting left to right/right to left! It's a learning curve!!
I really like this card. I couldn't make a card using my scraps because I would have to make 5,000 of them just to use all my scraps.
Hi Beccy, a post after my own heart, using up my scraps have been my main objective with this years Christmas cards. Love the card with the scraps on the diagonal. Thank you for the inspiration and fun... Megan
Beautiful scraps for the card! I have lots of them, so I should try this! This would be so pretty with a die cut snowflake too!
For those scrap addicts - there 'may be' hope. When I downsized to my current lake home it was easy downsize everything but my precious crafts. Knowing I had to make a sacrifice - I went with SCRAPS! Sounds small but you know they add up. Yes I still have smaller pieces but A2 to A7 size paper is filed in a tray as scraps, nothing smaller.
Boy do I have scraps! I think I could make cards all year just from scraps. But what would be the fun in that?!
I love doing scrappy cards and yours is fantastic, Beccy! I didn't know there was any kind of rule against saving scraps and if there was, I'd be under arrest because it's impossible for me to toss any bit of paper larger than a 1/2 inch square. LOL
Sometimes, I am desperate with the small scraps. Because I really want to save them, I decided to find tutorials for handmade paper.
But if it is possible, with less messy...
