Day 16 - "N"

I printed one of the bonus pine tree images from the "Oh Night Divine" digital set onto watercolour paper and then inked in the night sky, complete with shimmering Northern Lights and a gentle snowfall. The ink ended up being too dark for my little tree, so out came the white pen for some snowy highlights!

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "N" as your prompt.

This is really a pretty card and you did a great job on it. If only one of my cards would look as good as yours. Sigh

I have no idea what I am going to do for N. It is one of the few letters that I haven't worked out what I will do. As I still haven't done yesterday's yet as I had a rough day, I can leave that decision until after yesterday's prompt is done.
Love the Northern Lights as a background.

Oh... I love the sky you created on this card. And your use of the white pen is stellar!! TFS!

I'm always in awe of water coloring - anything. This is just stunning! Mine would be a pale puddle.

MAJESTIC card Beccy!
WOW - your Northern Lights are filled with inky magic!
A month or two ago there was a lot of cosmic activity and many areas down here in southern Australia got to enjoy the magic of the Southern Lights. Sadly the weather wasn't on our side, so it's great to be able to share the magic in card form instead :)
PS - what is your secret to getting such a neat finish on with your mirror cardstock? I always get a burred finish along the edges that even a bone folder cannot restore.

I love how you've created the sky on the narrow panel. Just beautiful!

I'm also jealous that you can ink to look like northern lights. Your card is beautiful.
