'Twas The Night Before Christmas

Michael Powell is one of my favourite stamp artists, I love the little scenes he designs. This stamp is one of my favourites, I think it looks lovely and peaceful and I can just imagine Santa and his sleigh flying across that night sky.

Day 4 - "D"

It's "D" for die cutting at my place today. I've used a large, nesting die set to create an easel card. The larges die cuts the card base, while smaller dies cut mats for images and sentiments.

Day 3 - The Night Sky

There are lots of techniques that paper-crafters can use to create fabulous night sky scenes, from stamping and colouring to masking and die-cutting.  You can layer lots of different elements in front of your night sky, such as stamped houses, die cut trees or a sleigh laden with brightly wrapped gifts!

Day 3 - Water Colouring

Earlier this year I purchased two gorgeous Christmas Stamps designed by Michael Powell featuring little winter villages waiting for Christmas to arrive.  I used my Distress Markers to colour them and then layered the images on some matching cardstock, stamped a little sentiment and drew a quick border for a simple, fun card.
