Paper Weaving
Weaving strips of paper together to create a background is a fantastic way to use up some of those scraps that have no doubt accumulated during the year. If you're feeling particularly creative, you could try altering the width of each strip for an interesting effect.

Stamped Background
I used a piece of watercolor paper and three different oxide inks to create a pretty background for my card. After stamping the image multiple times, I used a water brush to drag some of the ink around, softening the lines and adding a little more interest.

Snowy Fields
A generous coating from my glitter brush gave a beautiful sparkle to my snowy hillsides, providing the perfect foreground for some pretty pine trees.

Joy
I combined a couple of the images from the Sleigh Bells set to create a pretty embellishment for my card. Some silver cardstock, sparkly rhinestones, and a die cut sentiment finished the project nicely.

The Purple and the Green
A couple of simple cards using oxide inks, coordinating cardstock, and some little rhinestones. The backgrounds have been dry embossed to add texture and interest.

Magnolia Wreath
Wreath cards are great for December birthdays. They don't have to be over the top with Christmas vibes, but there's a little hint of the festive season thrown in for good measure.

Fault Line Card
Have you tried the fault line technique to create a card? It involves tearing a sheet (or two) of patterned paper in half and securing them to your card front with a gap between. Another colour or pattern is visible through that gap giving a nice contrast and highlighting the "fault".

Season's Greetings
I used some pretty blue glitter card to add a little extra sparkle and shine to my Christmas card. I think it works nicely with the pop of bright red from the berries.
