Have you ever made a gingerbread house?
I've created several over the years - some with home-made gingerbread (which makes the whole house smell awesome!), some with a gingerbread kit, and some using Scotch Finger biscuits (flat, rectangular shaped cookies). My favourites, however, are made with paper, stamps, and markers, followed with a generous splash of stickles, glitter pens, and glossy accents for a high shine!

Gingerbread wasn't that famous in the Netherlands. But since I spent a holiday in the USA at the end of the year, I got in love with especially the gingerbread man. So I used one for my "G card.
They do smell so good, like you can gain a few pounds just walking by one! Guess that's the good part about your beautiful Gingerbread house ~ it's calorie free!
I have never made a gingerbread house ever. A few years ago, my four grandkids wanted to build one so of course Grammie bought a kit for them. They had fun but I think they ate most of it before they could make the whole house. They had a blast.
Fabulous card, Beccy. I can almost smell it from here. 😉 xx
Is it typical for the UK or for Germany? I think you see them in both these countries. Too beautiful to eat them but wonderful for a card.😊

What a cute little gingerbread house, love the addittion of the mediums, love glitter :)
My G stands for griep (Dutch for the flu) that kept me busy the last 1,5 week, hope to play along soon!
Wouldn't a cookie that looked like that be delicious?!
I have never made a gingerbread house myself. I do not think this is an actual tradition in our country. I only know about it through Christmas movies. Although as Christmas decoration we can find them, next to the gingerbreas men 😉
In Belgium, you can only buy gingerbread at Christmas markets.
I do like it, but actually they are too beautiful to eat.
