I'm starting this year's challenge with a bright and happy Christmas tree that I coloured with alcohol markers. I used the same markers, along with some metallic gold pen, to create the diagonally striped paper in the background, which ties everything together nicely.

Gorgeous tree in rainbow colours, perfectly matching the background papers. In our part of the world (Europe) its brightness will certainly cheer up the dark days.
