After colouring my poinsettias, I decided they needed a black background to really make them pop, which also proved to be a great contrast for the embossed gold sentiment.

Pretty card.
Your black background cards are always the best! ALWAYS!
Lovely card. I love poinsettias but don't have much luck keeping them - they lose the red and often die!!
Great colouring by the way...
Beautiful colouring of your poinsettias and with putting them on a black background you created a dramatic effect!
Beautiful Beccy. The black background makes such a huge difference. Being curious, did you then cut out your poinsettias? Very 'chique' card!
Gorgeous the poinsettias on that black background! I have never tried it, but it's on my to-do list 😊

Hi Gina. No, I just coloured around them with the black marker and trimmed the whole panel to size. The blooms weren't individually fussy cut.
Cheers,
Beccy
Wow, this is amazing!! Such a good choice to make the background black! Thought you put them on black cardstock but I read that you colored it! Always find it difficult to color a big part without stripes!
