Day 4 - "D"

I used one of the little birds from the Christmas Cardinals set of digital stamps for today's card, but instead of colouring the berries red or green, I decided to turn them into little glowing lights to match the sentiment.

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "D" as your prompt.

Your card is so cute. I love the glowing berries. Such a great idea. I hope the glow of the berries doesn't scare the little birdie.

Super card. I always seem to be play catchup. It's still yesterday here today. 🤣 Perhaps I need to start with Z and then I'll meet you in the middle of the alphabet!

So beautiful you match the sentiment with the little glowing lights.
Good Night, nearly bedtime in the Netherlands.

I also think the bird with the scarf would look cute on that berry tree colored that way! Your coloring is always amazing!

I have that set of Cardinals and I love them all. I'm sure I've used them every year since I got them. What a clever idea to make the berries into lights! Your coloring really is incredible.

I've always thought that the little fellow wear a mask, but now I am sure of this! Beautiful card showing a perfect equilibrium.

Hi Beccy, love the Cardinal, I think the closest similar shaped Aussie bird would have to be a Whip Bird, you know the sound from the beginning of 'Skippy'. .. Having fun looking through the gallery and starting a few cards... thank you for the inspiration... Megan

I really like the idea of the little birdie sitting on the branch of an outdoor tree enthralled by the little twinkly lights.

We do not have cardinals in the UK so our version are little red breasted robins. I have several on my Christmas tree and always place them so they are surrounded by the twinkling lights. They are a reminder to me of lost loved ones who can no longer be with us at Chrismas <3
