Quite the card, Beccy. Santa looks fabulous in his red and green coat.
This card is very cute. Quilting always reminds me of my grandmother. She made beautiful quilts. I have one in my closet not wanting to use it because she is gone now, and I don't want to mess it up in any way.
I've always loved this image. Classic Christmas.
I discovered this quilt technique, during these games. I did not tried with materials, a simulation with paper or even painted could be fabulous, like here in your lovely image!
Stunning card I have another q for everyone. Question have you been Good or Bad this year are you on the good or bad list
Your card is quite delightful Beccy! Love your colouring on Santa's quilted coat!
I'm in quite a quandary as the card I planned for "Q" day is a new-to-me technique and my online order with my essential "Q" tool has not arrived in time...
He looks like a figurine! How cool is that.
Beautiful Santa image for your card! I love the background papers and colors too! Quite fetching!
Cool layout with the coordinating papers and perfect accent button!
Hi Beccy, Love Santa with his arms full of gifts and the shiny bell announcing his arrival... I think this mornings race must have been like an Olympic Time trial in the velodrome... Santa rang his bell and they were off... Megan
Hi Tracy, if your 'q' item is for quilling, I was not amused when I realised that the quilling tool bought from Aussie wide craft store was a sewing needle with the end of the eye cut open and stuck in a handle... Megan
Ahhh, when I hear 'Quilt' it makes me think about warm cosy nights, under a blanket. A quilted blanket, off course 😉 The ones I used to make as a child, with crocheted squares, in different colours. Knitting was never my thing, so crocheted 😉Usualy I put flowers on top of each square. Seeing the image in front of you already? Would Santa's coat be knitted or crocheted? Whatever, he looks great!
This is one of my favorite Father Christmas/Santa images and I'll bet I've used him every year since I first got him (including this year but he's not yet ready to post.) I've done him in all sorts of colors, including icy blues & whites. Your card is marvelous and I adore him in traditional red and green colors.
