I is inspiration and if your mojo has gone on holiday look no further than this and it will return. My aunt moved from uk to perth and says after 40 years she still thinks of christmas as winter. Must be nice to spend in the sun though
OH my! That looks good enough to eat. I'm drooling over your coloring. I wish mine just didn't look like a 5 yoa colored it!
Love your card. I wouldn't mind so much if Christmas was in the Summer. It is always cold here. We don't always have snow but it is cold.
That's a yummy looking ice-cream but you wouldn't want to eat that on a hot summer day without getting rid of the cream and cherry. It would be all over your hands by the time you got to the ice-cream.
Love the colours that you chose for the card.
Just starting to feel like we are heading to summer temperatures - it has been a cold Spring this year.
I'll take ice cream summer or winter! Cute card!
My nephew is currently working in Australia as a chef. His birthday is a Christmas Day and he is determined to have a BBQ on the beach on Christmas Day and I am sure he will be having an ice cream and a few beers to celebrate. We will miss him very much and I am sure his Mom will be upset not to see him as it will be their first Christmas apart.
Your card is beautiful and I do like how you use images not intended for Christmas on your cards too.
Although I'm in the Northern Hemisphere, I love the idea of ice cream at Christmas! My daughter's MIL would agree. She eats ice cream all year round, regardless of how cold it is outside and we always have ice cream as an option for dessert at both Thanksgiving and Christmas family dinners. Of course, she keeps her winter thermostat set at 80F so it's always hot in her house. lol Delightful color choices, Beccy!
INCREDIBLE colouring and DELICIOUS card Beccy!
Your festive treat would be very welcome at our house - YUM :)
Hi Beccy, mmmm! Mint Chocolate ice cream, if only I was able to have dairy, I used to make an Ice cream pudding, same fruits and spices as a traditonal one just stirred through plain vanilla ice cream, bonus was we could make it weeks in advance and leave it in the freezer... I seem to have missed a couple of races and a hide and seek... Have a wonderful week.. thank you for the inspiration... Megan
No matter what the holiday or how full we are there is ALWAYS room for Ice Cream ~ it just melts and fills in all the gaps! Yours looks so yummy too! ... I learned something new with your Christmas being in summer. :-)
Must be so different to celebrate Christmas in Summer. This card with the ice cup is so original! I wonder, we like to lighten up our Christmas tree, in December for an extra reason because it is dark so soon these days. Since it is Summer at your sight, does this mean you have long bright days now?
Brrrr, no Ice cream for me, although it look delicious ;) I'm sitting here typing with cold hands, it's cold in the Netherlands this morning and also the last couple of days so I'm gonna boil an egg for breakfast to warm me up, hihihi!
I would love to have ice cream for Christmas! Maybe I will!!
Yup, even though we are in the Fall Season and going into Winter soon Ice Cream is good in all Season..Great card Beccy.
