It's winter here in Australia, so colouring these bright, happy hibiscus flowers was a welcome reminder that summer will eventually arrive with it's warmth and sunshine. I coloured the flowers with pencils to give them a lovely soft look, then teamed the image with a cheerful sentiment.

Lovely card Beccy. I know just what you mean about colouring bright things to brighten a winter's day. It isn't that warm here either (NZ)!
Love this. Summer here--it's hot, but I like the heat much better than cold.
