Let It Snow

For many years I've been intending to experiment with cutting felt or fabric with metal dies, and I'm happy to report that I have finally achieved my goal! These snowflakes are made from white felt, heavy thread, beads and kindy glitz. The thread is a couple of feet long so the snowflakes can be hung from the ceiling to make a beautiful snowy display.

This is how they looked pre-construction.

Wow they cut amazingly what die did you use. I saw a spray on TV that you could use on fabric that made the fabric work like paper in dies.

BEAUTIFUL!
I have only cut felt once before, to make a poinsettia for a chalkboard style card => THANK YOU for the INSPIRATION, I NEED to try it again :)

Hi Aunty Sue. It was an Intricutz die, but I'm pretty sure most of them would work.
Thanks for the tip about Material Magic, I'll have a look for it next time I'm at the craft store... sounds interesting.
Cheers,
Beccy
