Three For March - Card Three

For this month's final "Three For..." card I combined the kraft cardstock with some patterned paper and a water-coloured image to create a masculine birthday card.

Kraft cardstock mixes beautifully with other patterns, textures and colours making it a wonderfully versatile element to have in your stash.  It's one of my favourite items and I have used it for countless projects, themes and occasions... which means I'm always running out!

Beautiful - did you print the chair on kraft cardstock???

Hi Linda,
I actually stamped and heat embossed the chair on watercolour paper then coloured it with distress markers and a water brush. The Kraft cardstock wouldn't hold up to a watercolour technique because it's not designed to soak up so much liquid. The best colouring options for Kraft are mediums that sit on top of the surface rather than soaking in. So things like coloured pencils, crayons and metallic pens.
Cheers,
Beccy
