Old Boots

When I'm designing my pictures I generally do a quick sketch to get the basic idea and shape down on the page. The lines are all rough and drawn many times, one on top of the other as I build up the picture. When I'm happy with the result I transfer a "clean" image into my little sketch book, which is then scanned and uploaded.
Anyway, when I got to the end of this initial drawing, I was so taken with the rustic look of the design that I decided to keep it in it's sketchy form. This is probably my favourite of the five masculine designs.
