Day 9 - Mirror, Mirror

I had forgotten all about the beautiful mirror card that's available in my local stationery supply store... they have all the colours of the rainbow, from bright pink to a beautiful deep blue, but silver and gold are always the most popular, particularly when the holidays are just around the corner. If you've never used it, I highly recommend grabbing a couple of sheets, it's easy to work with and comes up a treat when embossed.

YOUR TURN: Let your project shine with some mirror card.

  1. Lovely card. I was so taken with the flowers and bell that I didn't even see the scalloped mirror card at first. I wish you had this stamp in digital.

  3. Beautiful card. I love using mirror card, but always seem to get a reflection of whatever I'm wearing when I try to photograph it!

  4. This is a new product to me. But I see the amazing results in your card. I actually googled it and came up some unusual links but I'll keep looking. I haven't seen anything like this is store near me. A link would be appreciated. Your card is stunning. I think this is a product I'd really like.

I haven't use mirror card before, confess that I haven't seen it around either. What store did you get it from Beccy? Is it a chain that might also be down here in Victoria?

    1. Hi Tracy. Yep, it should be available in Victoria. Try your local stationary store, Big W or Spotlight.

  8. It's a beautiful card....wow I agree it has so many beautiful colors and highlights. Using the black background was awesome too. I love using shiny/mirror card stock, but I have yet to master taking a picture after I have made the card. Ok...I'm off to give it a try. I love a challenge.

  9. A gorgeous card with so many beautiful details! I usually play with this kind of paper with my Christmas cards but I should play with them all year round. They are so much fun!
