Technique Class - Fussy Cutting

This is a very simple technique used by most paper crafters and basically involves using small scissors to cut around an image.  It's called "fussy" because instead of cutting a basic shape around your image, such as a circle or square, you follow the actual outline.  Some crafters prefer to cut a few millimetres from the image leaving a small blank border right around the outside, while others cut along the line itself.

This layered image was created by fussy cutting around sections of three of the same images and then building them up to give a 3D effect.  Now it's ready to add to a card or other paper craft project.
