Warm Pudding

When it comes to card making, are you a planner or do you just let the card evolve? I tend to do a bit of both. If I don't have a solid idea of what I want to create, I just add things and see what happens. Sometimes it works, sometimes it's a lesson...

  1. Great card! I do a lot like you with my card making. I may have a general idea, but usually mine pretty much just evolve.

  2. Super card. I usually have an idea of a finished card in my head, but often my card turns out quite different.

  3. Hi Beccy! Missing you so I had to check in real quick! I have to start with a sketch. It may evolve from there but the sketch is my starting point. When I look for a sketch I look for one that will work with the image I have in mind, has the feel I'm going for and will work with the papers I plan to use (if I have them picked all ready). Like I say I'm not an artist (that's my husband and friend)I'm just a gluer of paper! I make pretty things just differently then an artist...I can't draw...stick figures are even questionable at times!! But I have learned it takes all of us to make the world go round and I love the talent God gave me!

  4. Great card Beccy, I don't plan it out but sometimes I have a ribbon that I know I want to use on it or a certain color.

  6. Hi Beccy, looks like a feast of puddings, love the round pud, reminds me of the ones my Dad made, such a shame that the Aussie heat often made them go mouldy.... which entirely puts us off... my cards are frequently a piece that evolves, I have started to pick papers before colouring to make life easier when it comes time to make the card... Have a wonderful week.. Megan
