I was so pleased with the way the red holly looked against the black background that I decided to colour another branch in different shades of green. I'm really happy with both, but I think the red is still my favourite.

WOW, Beccy! Those cards are gorgeous! I love the red just a teeny bit more than the green but each one is truly marvelous. :-D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. If only I was so talented. I keep trying but nothing I make will ever look this pretty.
ReplyDeleteI knew I was tired but when I first saw your photo the red really popped out at me and I just could'k work out how you had got such a vibrant colour on the back.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't until I had enlarged it I saw the fussy cutting. It really blends into the background so well!
Oh gosh these look so real i nearly prick my finger on the holly
ReplyDeleteBy GOLLY! Look at that HOLLY! Both of those cards are so bright and pretty! These are great!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you fussy cut those out! Oh my gosh, they are over the top. I’ve got to try the black background. Thanks again for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree the red pops and is more traditional. It's a 3 day weekend for me so hopefully I can get some of these done!
ReplyDeleteJust thinking about the H and as we just had G for Gifts I think Santa will need a HELPING HAND with them.
ReplyDeleteThey both look stunning but I must say the red really draws the eye more than the green.
ReplyDeleteABSOLUTELY STUNNING cards Beccy!
ReplyDeleteYour colouring is DELIGHTFUL and really POPS against the black background - WOW!!!
