Day 5 - "E"

I'm not sure if anyone ever adds marshmallows to eggnog, but for the sake of the "e" prompt, that's what's going on here! Just to cover my bases, I also used the eggshell marker, which is a very light earth tone and worked well for the cinnamon sticks.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or paper craft project using the letter "E" as your prompt.

  1. This is definitely not a drink for me. I don't like marshmallows or eggnog. But I do like your colorful card.

  2. I've never had eggnog but to add marshmallows to it sounds an interesting concept.
As you know, I like covering the letters by including marker colours so I'm all for that.
Lovely choice of colours for your card Beccy.

  3. This shows so much better than in the product image - the soft pastel pinks and greens are really pretty! And yes your eggshell marshmellows are yummy looking. I too used an 'E' color but not eggshell - love being creative along with you Beccy!

  4. OMG.... this has just reminded me that I want to buy this set from your store before and completely forgot. I have just downloaded it so thank you so much for the reminder.

The pink and brown colour combo is perfect for this image.

PS When I type pink for some reason I always type oink and have to amend it. I think it must be because I love pink piggies :)

  5. I'd be eating the marshmallows and ignoring the eggnog, although marshmallows might make the eggnog slightly drinkable. :-D Can you tell I'm not a fan of that particular holiday drink? But I do love the eggnog mug on your card. Beautiful coloring and the black background is an incredible idea!

  7. Oh you might have to draw some Christmas drinks for next year! Do you ever get ideals from this challenge where you come up with an idea but can't make it so you make it for next time?

  9. Hi Beccy, a stunning card, I'll skip the eggnog and just have some marshmallows. This year E is for Emu, you know the one, Edwina the Emu, laid ten little eggs and headed out of the zoo. Love the colours on your card. Thank you for the inspiration... Megan

  12. Just thought how this reminded me of the Hot Chocolate I would make my nephews after school in December always had to have Cream and Marshmellows and added a candy stick or flake to stir. How i miss those days my grandson isnt up to hot drinks yet but maybe i coukd try some warm milk next time he visits

  13. I do not think I ever have tasted real Christmas eggnog, but it definitely can not be bad with melting marshmallows in it. Sure want to come over and taste 😉 Love your card design!
