Day 3 - "C"

After putting my candy cane cards together, I realised that they would probably be aniseed flavour rather than peppermint. It would be quite a surprise to bite down on what you thought was a minty candy only to receive a mouthful of black liquorice!

YOUR TURN: Create a papercraft project using the letter "C" as your prompt.

  1. While that deep aqua color is one of my favor Copic colors, I would die if I chomped into liquorish flavor! Let's stick to c for cherry please! Love the cards regardless!

  2. I love aniseed flavour so I'd be keen on one of those candy canes.
I'm going to head off and C what I can find for today's prompt.

  3. The candy canes kind of do look like they might be black licorice, but your cards are really pretty. I would never have thought to go that dark with the candy, but you made them very appetizing.

  4. I may be one of the only, but a black licorice candy cane once in awhile would be ok! BTW--I had to hunt down licorice all sorts after getting one of you digi sets!

  5. Oh you can lift the saying up and put down a new one. I make mine on the computer especially if I need something different from the stamp set. Or just change it to another sentiment in the set that fits that size. I like that it's different. I think kids or teenagers would love a card with a black licorice candy cane!

  6. I know lots of people who love licorice but I admit I'm not one of them! If aniseed disappeared from the earth, I'd not be crying over its demise. But I adore the coloring on your candy canes and prefer to think of them as blackberry flavor!!

mmm, the thought of having HUMBUG candy canes brings back delicious childhood memories of savouring little humbugs from pretty screw cap glass jars => I think you're on to a marketing winner :)
