Although we know the tradition, it's not very common to hang mistletoe as a decoration here in Australia... but meeting under the mistletoe sure is handy for the November challenge!

ReplyDeleteGreat design. Like how you added the corners that fix your eyes on the image. I also like the simplicity of green and white. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteHere in Florida, kissing under the mistletoe isn't very popular. But we should never try hanging some up. It grows wild in the trees here on our farm. My hubby and my birthdays are both two days before Christmas and two days after. So I think Mistletoe might just be what we need hanging around for our birthdays. Who knew Under the mistletoe could be a new birthday tradition!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card. I love the layout. I don't have mistletoe in my house at Christmas because my husband kisses me enough. We have been married for almost 40 years, and he still kisses me several times a day. I hope that never changes.
ReplyDeleteHaving been used to seeing mistletoe in the UK it made me wonder whether mistletoe was an Australian native too now that we live here. I had to Google and apparently there are many species native to Australia.
ReplyDeleteUber lovely "U" card Beccy!
ReplyDeleteYour design is delightful and I LOVE IT ALL!
I have a friend who keeps her mistletoe up all year round. Just in case ...!
ReplyDeleteNice one - and the layout is very eye appealing. I always have trouble with white space - but yours looks perfect.... not that it's any surprise <3
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I have never seen real mistletoe, only the plastic ones from spotlight. This also reminds me of another of Bucko and Champs Christmas tunes.... love the corners in green. Megan
