"Just a little donkey carried Heaven's precious light"
I created the background for this card by brushing a variety of distress ink colours onto smooth cardstock and then scattering a few stars around with a white gel pen. The little donkey sits above an oval window cut into white cardstock with a stitched-edge cutting die.

ReplyDeleteThis card is amazing - taking one single image and adding the oval background just make this sweet little creature pop. So neat to make him special with his own card!

ReplyDeleteLove the background you have created. I am not an 'inker' so pretty sure I could not create something so subtle. Every time I use inks I am too heavy handed and never seem to be able to make it look as effortless as this example.
ReplyDeleteThe texture you created on the little donkey loos very realistic too.
This is just the sweetest little donkey!
ReplyDeleteLove your background! Thanks for the inspiration!
How wonderful and very endearing Beccy. I love how you grounded him.
