Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer x2! I think that just about covers me for the "R" prompt this year. Although they don't look very sparkly, I actually filled in the noses of both reindeer with red Kindy Glitz, which also gave them some dimension. The backgrounds of both cards were created with strips of paper offcuts layered together and trimmed to size... a great way to use up some of those scraps!
YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "R" as your prompt.

Adorable reindeer and such a fun sentiment too! I have often wondered the same thing.... as in: Just what CAN I get away with?
ReplyDeleteLove the background, that's a good question for santa or whoever is buying your gifts! haha
ReplyDelete...I really do not know how GOOD you have to be!
ReplyDeleteBut if you are together with Santa, you are Good enough, don't worry!
Such a cute stamp set with several great sentiments. Your tiny black detailing is perfect to set off the image in the striped paper pattern.
ReplyDeleteOh what a fun set and love the Dp works so well. The expression on their face makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteLovely card. It reminds me that if I'm not good, some charcoal can come instead of my presents. :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I love Rudolph. I also like the paper you chose.
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy, a wonderful pair of Rudolph cards, I always find my Kindy Glitz dries flat, I sometimes add some diamond glaze over the top once the glitz has dried. Thank you for the inspiration, I'm off to peer at the over 400 card others have already made... Have a wonderful week... Megan
ReplyDeleteDon't you just wanna hug him!! He's so adorable and looks so cute with his shiny red nose!! You can't see that you've made this beuatiful DP yourself, it looks like it suppost to be like this!!
ReplyDeleteCUTENESS GALORE!!!
ReplyDeleteYour reindeer are adorable with their flushed cheeks and fun sentiment Beccy ... I will have to check if I have this set, it might still be on my wishlist, love using funny sentiments on cards :)
Love your paper strip backgrounds too, what a delightful way to have Rudolph help you work on your RRR's, you have Reduced waste by Reusing the paper strips and saving them from having to go to the Recycle bin :)
OMG! Adorable! Love how the background was made
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

That sentiment is just too funny! So adorable! I love the sparkle on Rudolph's nose!
ReplyDeleteCute cards, Beccy. A few years ago we went to a reindeer farm in Finland. We were told that no one could tell which one was Rudolph as his nose only shone red on Christmas Eve. 😃 xx
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like I good scrap card. You have so many adorable images that I didn't get to use this one! I love how you've drawn the frame around it too. I'll have to remember that. Super cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, I think your background made from scraps is fabulous, Beccy! I wonder if I could do the same thing with ribbon scraps? I still have to create my "R" card so ribbon scraps would be a good choice, don't you think?
ReplyDeletePerfect sentiment for this reindeer image....I bet he is wondering how long he can keep up perfect sitting until he breaks down and gets into mischief....lol
