Day 19 - "Q"

"Q" is one of the trickier letters of the alphabet, but as in most previous years, I've gone with quilting. This time though, I've used paper pieces assembled to look like an old, patchwork quilt with a Christmas theme. It's another good way to use up some of the many scraps I've accumulated over the years!

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "Q" as your prompt.

  7. This is lovely. I also went with a kind of quilt for the Q word. Not as nice as yours but Q is a very hard alphabet letter to make a Holiday card for.

  8. Quilting is a good way to get rid of your scraps. Your cards look so real. Just beautiful.
Before crafting, quilting was my great hobby. I quilted several blanckets plus Christmas baubles and stars too. Some years I still hang them in our tree.

  10. Beautiful! I never heard of the word accumulated but it's a perfect word for today because if you say it out loud you hear a Q, hihihi!

  11. Your quilt cards are so perfect. That's one of those details I always struggle with getting those pieces perfect. I think I'll stick to coloring and leave the quilting to those younger eyes. :-)

  14. Fantastic quilt, Beccy! Terrific paper choices and I love how you did the center star on each one. I'm going to do quilting on my card as well but I'm running a few days behind having been laid low by pneumonia so I'm not sure how soon I'll get it finished (or posted) but I will get it done before the end of the month. :-D
