"Y" is for yellow, a colour I don't use very frequently but have always admired when combined with grey. I wasn't sure how the poinsettia would look if coloured in shades of yellow, but I must admit that I'm very happy with the result.
YOUR TURN: Create a card or project using the letter "Y" as your prompt.

Love this Beccy. Yellow is one of my favourite colours yet I've never thought to colour a poinsettia this colour (and I am one for colouring things non-traditional colours too!)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh ! almost at the end of out alfabet! "Y" is an extremely difficult letter, but YELLOW is a great choice, and fits the poinsettia perfectly!

ReplyDeleteOh, my, I do love the yellow, Beccy! If poinsettias come in white and in pink as well as the traditional red, why not yellow? Beautifully designed in the hexagon shape.
ReplyDeleteI think the hexagon amplifies the effect of the flower.

This is so pretty in Yellow. I might have to make a card with a yellow Poinsettia for my Mother-In-Law because Yellow is her favorite color, Sarah W
