This set is one of my favs! I love their big ears and cute stripy clothing! There are so many yummy sweet stuff that I love at Christmas but I think Rocky Road is one of the best!
ReplyDeleteHe is so much fun, Beccy! Love your colouring and distressing around the oval! Adorable card!
ReplyDeleteI gave up sugar a year ago - but now I use Swerve to make something sweet - I remember loving those powder sugar cookies that are cut with a cookie cutter and frosting added. Always tasty. Now I bake an awesome Keto pecan chocolate chip cookie - so tasty and easy to make - I wonder what type of cookies this Elf baked up - super sweet card
ReplyDeleteAwww, these Elves are just adorable. It will bring allot of smiles for the receiver of a Christmas card. Love the sentiments also. Well done Beccy.
ReplyDeleteWell since you said something sweet, I automatically thought of myself. Because, come on, who doesn't think I am sweet? I was thinking maybe I should just take a picture of myself and put it on a card. Then I thought, well, I would have to put my Christmas outfit on first. Then I thought, well, that is a lot of work to do all that so I am just going to make a card with something sweet on it. Lol. I love your card Beccy, it is too cute, Sarah W
ReplyDeleteLove those Jolly Elves, very pretty card, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteSUPER SWEET card Beccy!
ReplyDeleteYour colours and colouring are gorgeous!
... the more I see these merry elves in action, the more I think they are a MUST-have set :)
I agree with TracyM - I think these elves are a must have set. I'm a big fan of all things sweet. When I was pregnant, I went off most sugar and at Christmas that year my husband gave me five pieces of chocolate. What a treat! Now I wish I could only limit myself to five pieces of chocolate!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy, love these cute little elves and their baking looks great, we always had traditional Christmas cake on the big day and when we went to my grandparents it was an Aussie Trifle, I've also given up regular sugar but, my doctors let me have maple syrup so Chocolate Cream Pie (biscuit crust) is on the Christmas menu this year... I've been enjoying all the cards you and your team have made, I checked my box and already had enough for the year! Have a good one... Megan
ReplyDeleteI wish this guy was coming to my house this week to fix the Thanksgiving dinner and to do the clean-up! I need a kitchen elf!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card!
Christmas is the only time that I actually bake cookies. And the twins and I started baking but they don't understand yet that we are saving some for Christmas. So they ate them all. But they do love to do the frosting part. Such a yummy card! Love the traditional colors and the fun design! The elf actually looks like Arthur!
ReplyDeleteCan I borrow your baking elf please...I have to make about half a dozen of pies but I notice the demand is a bit longer this year.
ReplyDeleteI make Sugar Pies which is made with brown sugar, milk, butter & flour...it's like a custard or fudge filling....it's sweet but it's yummy.
I need help!!!!
Oh this challenge prompt put me in a sticky mess. I was all set to go with the next letter of the alphabet thinking that you would leave the "extras" to the end!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Beccy! I got that elf set earlier this month and haven't used this elf with the cookies yet so now he's in the que to be used. :-D
