Day 2 - "B"

I'm going with "B" for bauble today, it's a freebie that you can find HERE. After colouring it with my alcohol markers, I decided to jazz it up with some Wink of Stella (my all time favourite sparkle medium) as well as some "Rock Candy" stickles along the centre band.

YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "B" as your prompt.

  3. You forgot Beccy's digi stamps, stamps and dies to add to the B list, hihihi. I started my own list and that was the first I could think of with a B!!

  7. I never knew what a Bauble was until I started making cards back in 2012 and posting them in challenges - so much you learn in this "art"-- I was always taught the word Ornament ~ however, I like the sound of bauble ~~ thanks for sharing!

  9. This is very pretty Beccy. Wish I was that good at coloring but don't think that will ever happen.

  10. Beside this beauty of bauble, I learned also a new phrase: 'to jazz up'. Never heard of it! That sparkle medium has a beautiful effect. Never heard about it either... Just here.
    More things to learn!
    Thank you, Beccy!

  11. Oh my, your bauble looks so fabulously shimmery and festive. Makes me wonder what our Christmas tree would look like in pinks and purples ... but I don't think I could convince hubby. Besides, I would probably need to create my own baubles, since I don't think I can buy them in my area.

  13. This is so pretty, Beccy! The bauble reminds me of the vintage ornaments on our tree when I was a child. Oh, wouldn't I love to go back in time to the '60s or '70s, when life was so much simpler! I've been taking a walk down memory lane lately!

  14. I love the colors of your bauble. I believe that baubles are the most beautiful decoration on the Christmas tree. Im my home, we always start decorating a Christmas tree with my great-great-grandmother's bauble. The only one that has survived. It does not look so beautiful anymore, and certainly not as shiny as yours.

  15. Beccy I love your bauble. The shine and shimmer you have created is very effective. I have Spectrum Noir sparkle overlay pens and they are nowhere near as twinkly as your Wink of Stella. I may have to add them to my crafty must have list ;)

  17. I love this card and the beautiful colors that set off that lovely cream color frame. The sparkle really makes it special. We call these ornaments rather than baubles but whatever the name it's gorgeous!
