Just Add Colour
Sometimes the patterned paper you have in your stash isn't quite the right colour, brightness or tone for the rest of your project, but you don't want to go out and purchase more. A quick and easy way to overcome this issue is by adding a layer of marker, paint or ink. Choosing a colour that's already in your image is a great way to ensure everything coordinates nicely.
What a clever idea Beccy. I've done this for matting when I can't find the colour I want but not thought of doing it to background paper. Love how your card turned out too - and the re-coloured paper is a definite improvement for the image.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip, Beccy. Thank you! xx
